Kingston Lake Swim Challenge (400 yd, 0.5 mi, 1 mi, 2 mi)

Distances: 2 miles, 1 mile, 1/2 mile or 400 yards; the event also includes an open water swim clinic

Entry fees:   Individual Long course (2 miles, 1 mile, 1500 meter) $90
Team Long course (2 miles, 1 mile, 1500 meter) 4 person team $260
Team long course with a sponsor - $200 plus $200 minimum sponsorship
Individual short course (400 meters) $40
Team short course (400 meters) 4 person team $100
Team short course with a sponsor - $80 plus $200 minimum sponsorship. 

All racers will have a waist-deep start at the water-front of YMCA Camp Lincoln, and the main course is a 1-mile loop. Two-mile swimmers will swim that loop twice, and the half-mile swimmers will swim a partial loop; the 400-meter will be a separate, out-and-back course.

Wetsuits are encouraged as the water temperatures are expected to range between 60 - 65 degrees.

This fundraiser will help support the construction of Exeter Area YMCA's aquatic center, which will provide instructional, recreational, and competitive swim opportunities. Southern District YMCA, Solo Aquatics, and Triple Crown Swimmer, Bob Fernald, have already offered their support to make this event a success.

Awards: The top 3 male finishers and top 3 female finishers of each distance will be recognized, as well as the top team finisher.



Train with Bob Fernald, the world's 136th person to complete the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming! Despite injuries, even attending one race on crutches, Bob swam the English Channel, Manhattan Island, and Catalina Island with the 10th fastest combined time in history. You have the opportunity to learn from Bob about open water safety, course management, and siting techniques at one of the two-hour swim clinics below!
