The USMS LMSC Standards and the New England LMSC Bylaws require an annual membership meeting of the New England LMSC. All NELMSC board members, including elected officers and appointed club representatives, are expected to attend if at all possible. Elections of officers, for two-year terms, are held at the annual meeting during odd-numbered years.

We encourage all NELMSC members to attend the annual meeting, provide feedback, and get involved. Every member in attendance is entitled to vote in the elections and on any motions. If you are interested in serving on the NELMSC board or otherwise volunteering to support LMSC governance initiatives, please contact NELMSC Board Secretary Jen Downing at https://nelmsc.squarespace.com/contact
